I had a lovely stay at Fossatun Sunset Cottage, enjoying the beautiful location next to a charming waterfall and stunning mountain views. The accommodations were cozy and provided excellent value, especially considering Iceland's usual expenses. However, the check-in time felt a bit restrictive, and bedding rental was an unexpected cost. Overall, I appreciated the warm atmosphere and unique amenities.

While I didn’t dine at the restaurant, I heard great things about the meals offered, particularly the seafood stew. However, I found breakfast pricing to be a bit high and opted for other options nearby.

My stay at Fossatun Sunset Cottage was quite a mix. The location near the Troll Waterfalls was stunning and made for some nice views, but I had some hiccups with check-in and communication with the staff that left me feeling a bit frustrated. While I loved the idea of the hot tubs and the scenic trails, I encountered a few maintenance issues which were unfortunate.

I had an very nice experience at Fossatun Sunset Cottage. The camping pod I stayed in was a great value, offering clever space utilization and enough warmth even when it was chilly outside. The location by the waterfall was amazing, and the grounds featured lovely trails, though my dining experience could have been better due to a disappointing meal. Overall, I found it a nice spot that I would definitely like to return to.

While the restaurant had beautiful views, my experience with a specific meal was disappointing as the burger was overcooked and unappetizing. I hope to try more of their menu on my next visit.

I had a wonderful stay at Fossatun Sunset Cottage. the location next to the waterfalls and the beautiful Grimsa river was absolutely enchanting. I enjoyed relaxing in the hot tubs under the stars, especially when the Northern Lights made an appearance. While the accommodations were cozy and comfortable, I did have a less-than-stellar dining experience with a burger that missed the mark. Overall, it was a nice retreat in the heart of nature.
